Week of winter activities

Haven’t posted in a while busy with Christmas and such. Had a great week of outdoor adventures this week.

Day 1 – Met up with Heather and Martin for a possible snowshoe around the Alvin Runnalls Forest. Not enough snow to snowshoe but put in a good two hour hike.

Day 2 – Met up with Drew and he showed me around his Grenville hiking location. He’s told me many time about these backroads ut the first time I’ve joined him. Hiked for about two hours. Definitely will be going back to check out the area.

Day 3 – New Years Eve hike with Heather to the shore of the St Lawrence for an New Year’s campfire. Had a great time on a warm evening. Total hiking time was about 90 minutes.

Day 4 – Met up with Heather and Martin to snowshoe from P1. Snowshoed for about 3 hours.

Day 5 – Met up with Heather and Martin again. Martin’s last day in Embrun before moving back to Renfrew. Cross-country skied for 4 hours. The last hour was tough but conditions were great considering the lack of snowfall.
