    Day 7 – Rain, rain, and more rain

    After a night full of rain it continued all day so we visited the Linville Caverns

    Next it was off to Linville Falls to hike in the rain

  • Killarney 2022

    The adventure starts today. Leaving today for 11 nights in Killarney. Staying on Johnnie Lake and Ruth Roy lake. looking forward to some great fishing and relaxation.

    The Crack

    Hiked the Crack today with Heather. Beautiful 360 degree views.

  • The real summer is here aka Bass season is open

    Leaving today for a five night camping trip in the Adirondacks. Bass season opened yesterday and Cindy has assured me that the Bass will be practically jumping into the boat. Possible car camp tonight and then getting on the water early tomorrow.

    Haven’t updated for a while so here’s a little update. So far the trips have been great but the weather has left a little to be desired.

    Beautiful day paddling on the Ottawa river starting out from Braeside beach. Arriving at the launch spot the river was covered in mist and the Quebec shore could not be seen. The sun burned off the mist and the river was a like a mirror

  • Algonquin Park – Sec Lake

    September 17 to 19

    A relaxing weekend at Sec Lake with Cindy and Jo-Ann. I headed to the lake early to try and grab one of the island sites. Luckily one of the sites on the smaller island was available and I pitched my tent and hammock to get ready for Cindy and Jo-Ann’s arrival.
